Homeopathy is being practiced in Greece for the past 100 years. H.A.HO.MED.C is a purely Medical Association, like Psychiatric Assosiations, Hellenic Cardiological Society etc.
H.A.HO.MED.C represents Greek Homeopathic Doctors in their continouous effort in optimising the quality of Homeopathic medical services. Our goals include the high quality training of doctors in practicing Homeopathy and the continouous medical education of Homeopathic Doctors as well. Our efforts are targeted also to the establishment of Homeopathy as a treatment option in bedside and outpatient medical care and its incorporation in medical insurance policies.
Homeopathic drugs are of low cost, without any side effects and are indicated to a wide range of diseases and patients. Since such a treatment option should be accessible to all doctors, H.A.HO.MED.C offers in Athens, since 2004, a complete training 2 year course for doctors,dentists, pharmacists and veterinarians.
Our educational course includes mastering Homeopathic theory with live lectures utilizing multimedia equipment, and the application of Homeopathy in clinical practice, allowing our students to gain significant clinical experience. Our educational program is officially fully compliant with all the European Commitee for Homeopathy (ECH) educational standards.
To ensure the Continuing Medical Education of Homeopathic doctors, H.A.HO.MED.C hosts the post-graduate seminars of ''Homeopathic Dialogs'' which are provided to all Homeopathic Doctors as a contribution towards an improved medical care for their patients.
One of the main purposes of H.A.HO.MED.C is to facilitate the cooperation of all health-related providers (universities, hospitals, insurance companies) in order to allow patients to access high quality medical services from fully trained physicians.
